Responsibilities

- Oversee the Quality Management System to assure compliance with the ISO 9001:2015 standard
- Schedule ISO quality audits and prepare facilities for success.
- Manage the internal audit system
- Manage all Quality System documentation
- Manage calibration of all test equipment
- Report monthly on quality-related metrics
- Supervise internal corrective action system and respond to customer initiated correct action requests
- Coordinate customer claims by determining merit, investigating root causes, authorizing disposition, and coordinating return of material and final disposition
- Assist customers in product development and problem solving
- Oversee reporting of relevant customer data including Reach, RoHS, Prop-65, Conflict Minerals, and USMCA (NAFTA).
- Develop, formulate, and direct implementation of inspection procedures
- Provide technical support to Sales, Production and Purchasing teams
- Review new products and assist in development of customer specifications
- Assist in process improvement/development projects
- Collect and report key vendor metrics and performance evaluations
- Assist in review and approval process for new suppliers
- Communicate and review technical aspects of raw materials with appropriate personnel at producing mills
- Evaluate process and product performance
- Direct supervision of quality technicians at each location

- A 4-year college degree is required.
- Experience with ISO-9001:2015 Standards
- Understanding of Lean Management Principles
- Knowledge of base metal technology and experience in a production environment
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Excel, Access, Word, Outlook
- Ability to work with customers, suppliers, and production personnel.
