What You'll Be Doing
- Safely operate a ready-mix truck to deliver concrete to customer job sites
- Perform pre‑trip, en‑route, and post‑trip inspections to ensure safe vehicle operation
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members at delivery locations
- Maintain proper material slump and adjust loads as needed for quality and compliance
- Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe, inclusive work culture
What Are We Looking For
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record
- Ability to operate commercial vehicles safely and effectively
- Strong awareness of safety practices and commitment to safe work habits
- Capability to perform physical tasks such as climbing, lifting, and maneuvering equipment
- Collaborative attitude with clear, professional communication skills
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
