Responsibilities
Reports directly to the OR Charge Nurse and Director of Surgical Services Delivers patient care in the PACU using the nursing process Coordinates post‑operative care with surgeons and anesthesiologists Directs and supports PACU staff while maintaining standards of care Communicates clinical changes to physicians, including hemodynamic monitoring and diagnostics Collaborates with departments to ensure quality care, efficient patient flow, and unit organization Ensures compliance with regulations, standards, and hospital policies Participates in performance improvement activities, unit meetings, and in‑services Serves as a clinical resource to other personnel as appropriate
Qualifications
Current and valid state RN License. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current. ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current. PALS (AHA) certificate preferred. Previous PACU experience minimum of one year required. Critical Care RN (CCRN) preferred. Equal Employment Opportunity:
