Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach and develop a team to achieve ambitious sales and profitability targets

Develop and implement commercial sales strategies that support business growth

Drive collaboration across sales teams to maximise customer opportunities

Analyse sales performance, forecasts and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement

Take ownership of pricing strategy to maximise margins while maintaining customer value

Build and maintain strong customer relationships, supporting key accounts where required

Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and customer experience

Monitor competitor activity and respond with effective commercial initiatives

Foster a positive, customer-focused culture built around accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement About You

Previous experience in a Sales Manager or similar commercial leadership role

A proven track record of leading and motivating successful sales teams

Experience selling physical products within sectors such as manufacturing, automotive, engineering, industrial, steel or similar

Strong commercial awareness with the ability to interpret sales data, produce forecasts and make informed business decisions

Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels

A hands-on leadership style with a passion for coaching, developing and inspiring people

A proactive mindset, always looking for ways to improve performance, processes and customer outcomes
