Position Overview

The Sales Representative is responsible for identifying product and service demand, developing pricing strategies, and building strong customer relationships within a designated territory. This role involves presenting products, managing customer accounts, and monitoring market trends to support business growth. The Sales Representative works closely with clients to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnerships. Success in this position requires a proactive approach and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

· Answer customer questions about products, pricing, and availability
· Recommend products based on customer needs and interests
· Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products and solicit orders
· Perform follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction
· Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates
· Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve issues and provide ongoing support
· Build and maintain strong customer relationships
· Prepare drawings, estimates, and bids tailored to customer needs
· Collaborate with design to provide product samples
· Identify prospective customers using various outreach methods
· Arrange and direct product deliveries
· Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitor activity
· Perform administrative duties such as preparing sales reports, maintaining records, and filing expense reports
· Obtain credit information for prospective customers

Qualifications

· Knowledge of selling principles and customer service practices
· Understanding of the paper industry, design, and departmental capabilities
· Awareness of industry trends and changing market conditions
· Skilled in marketing and sales presentations
· Experience conducting meetings and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support sales efforts
