(SOM) professional to lead the design, implementation, and delivery of end-to-end subscription-based business models. This role will play a critical part in enabling clients to transition to scalable, usage- and subscription-based revenue streams through modernized order-to-cash capabilities.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise across SAP BRIM components, with a primary focus on SOM, and a strong understanding of integrated billing and revenue processes. This individual will partner closely with business and technology stakeholders to architect and deliver scalable, high-impact solutions that support evolving digital and subscription-driven business models. Lead/ Managing Application Consultants understand the client business process, current and future, and map it to the technologies being used, giving a demarcation of what can be achieved through a standard implementation and what would need customizations or extensions to be done to the application. They may functionally customize the application, partner with application developers to design application enhancements and extensions, and work with business users to implement process changes.
This role in projects have strong client exposure. Individual support or lead bids, operate at director level in major client organizations, and master one or more businessorindustry domains. ‹ Individual is responsible for functional guidance over the whole project or application life cycle and leverage relationships with colleagues, partners and clients to build thought leadership and conceptualize new offerings.‹ Lead and/or support the design and implementation of SAP BRIM SOM solutions aligned to client business requirements and subscription-based models. Translate complex business requirements into functional specifications and system design across order management processes. Configure and optimize SAP SOM, including product modeling, subscription lifecycle management, pricing, and order orchestration. Collaborate with cross-functional teams across BRIM components (Convergent Charging, Convergent Invoicing, FI-CA) to enable integrated billing and revenue processes. Support integration with upstream and downstream systems, including CRM, S/4HANA, and non-SAP platforms. Drive testing activities, including unit testing, SIT, and UAT, ensuring quality delivery and alignment with requirements. Provide production support and troubleshoot issues related to SOM processes and interfaces. Contribute to continuous improvement, accelerators, and best practices within SAP BRIM implementations Bachelors Degree ~5+ years of SAP experience, with a strong focus on SAP BRIM and Subscription Order Management (SOM) – Core Experience. ~ Hands-on experience implementing SAP BRIM solutions, with exposure to SOM, CI, CC, ~ Strong understanding of end-to-end subscription lifecycle processes and order-to-cash workflows. ~ Experience with SAP CRM / SOM Web UI, product catalog, and subscription APIs. ~ Solid integration knowledge across SAP and non-SAP systems (e.g., APIs, web services). ~ Prior experience in client-facing consulting roles with strong stakeholder management. ~ Experience leading workstreams or small teams within SAP BRIM implementations.
