Part-time overnight Security Staff role at RiverWoods Durham, a continuing care retirement community, focused on keeping residents and the campus safe through patrols, monitoring hazards, and responding to unauthorized activity. You’ll also support facilities tasks like lightbulb checks, trash/recycling removal, and seasonal snow removal. - Tour facility buildings and premises to prevent fires, theft, vandalism, and intruders; confront unauthorized persons for questioning as needed; report safety and/or fire hazards or security activities.
- Monitor status of lightbulbs, assist with floor care, remove trash/recycling from the building
- Maintains accurate work order logs and other required documentation
- Provides direct assistance to the Director of Facilities for special projects, annual preventative maintenance duties, or other tasks as assigned
- Assist with snow removal in the winter months to ensure safety for the community
- Assist Community Life or Campus Services team with other projects, room set-up, resident needs, or other requests
Qualifications
- High School diploma required
- Minimum 1-year experience preferred
- CPR certification, or the obility to obtain one required
