About TRC Talent Solutions

TRC Talent Solutions is a premier IT and Engineering placement firm built on transparency and aggressive candidate advocacy. We do not toss resumes into an HR black hole. We partner directly with hiring managers to control the process, provide immediate feedback, and secure fast-tracked, one-and-done interviews for the right technical talent.

About the Client

Our client is a highly stable, enterprise-level utility and critical infrastructure organization operating in the Greater Atlanta area. They support a massive, high-volume Microsoft 365 environment spanning multiple business units. They are heavily investing in modernizing their digital workplace and rely on rapid, scalable technology to support their daily operations. For engineers who can deliver quickly and accurately, this environment offers incredible stability and long-term extension potential.

The Reality of the Role

We are currently seeking a Senior Power Platform Developer for a high-priority, fast-paced contract. To be completely transparent, this is a rescue mission. The client previously brought in front-end-focused developers who struggled with the backend architecture required for this environment.

We do not need a citizen developer or a drag-and-drop UI designer. We need a heavyweight software engineer (ideally with a SQL/.NET foundation) who has pivoted into the Power Platform space to build complex plumbing. You will be stepping into an active migration program supporting a transition from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online. If you are tired of endless requirement-gathering meetings and want a pure execution role where you can put your head down and build, this is for you.

How This Project Operates

Zero BA Work Required: You will not be interviewing the business. You will be handed a complete packet containing requirements, wireframes, and vendor-provided reusable UI components (title headers, search components, templates) to accelerate your delivery.

Heavy Backend Focus: Your primary responsibility is constructing the backend. You will map data, connect to existing EDI staging tables and SQL databases, and build out complex, multi-stage approval routings.

Rapid Deployment Pace: This is a high-volume intake environment. The expectation for delivering a medium-complexity solution from packet to testing is approximately 45 hours. You must know how to leverage reusable vendor components so you never have to start from scratch.

Legacy Modernization: A major portion of this initiative involves rebuilding legacy InfoPath forms (primarily Canvas apps) and converting complex Nintex workflows into modern Power Automate flows.

What You Must Bring to the Table

Deep Power Platform Expertise: 5+ years of experience designing scalable Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven) and advanced Power Automate flows in an enterprise environment.

Data Integration Mastery: Proven ability to connect Power Platform solutions to structured data sources (Dataverse, SQL Server, EDI tables) and SharePoint Online lists/libraries.

Programming Foundation: A strong technical background in SQL, relational database design, or .NET/C# before moving into the Power Platform space.

Speed & Accuracy: The ability to work within a structured migration program, maintain high accuracy under tight timelines, and properly test solutions before pushing to QA.

Why Take This Contract?

You will be shielded from administrative bloat. There is no guesswork on the UI/UX design. You are handed the blueprints and the visual assets, and your sole focus is engineering a bulletproof backend that scales. For the right developer who can deliver quickly without sacrificing quality, this 6-month contract will serve as a launchpad for long-term extensions and increased responsibilities into next year.
