Key qualifications:
  • Minimum five 3 years' experience in troubleshooting and repair of Heavy Construction Equipment, CAT preferred
  • Must be computer proficient to be able to run diagnostic software and prepare service communications
  • Must have strong communication and organization skills and have a high level of self-management
  • Must be able to troubleshoot technical problems, meet or exceed labor repair guidelines, possesses the ability to plan and efficiently complete assigned tasks
  • CDL license a plus

Responsibilities

Successfully provide service of recognized superior value.

  • Troubleshoot problems
  • Efficiently utilize resources to correct problems
  • Document steps taken to correct problems

Maximize the efficient use of service and repair processes to provide fast, accurate service and minimize unnecessary expense.
  • Plan proper repair procedures for efficiency
  • Efficiently utilize tooling and technical resources
  • Continually improve key processes
  • Communicate repair status

Successfully contribute toward building a culture of safety through completion of all safety initiatives and demonstrating safe work habits.
  • Complete/attend all safety meetings, computer-based safety training, safety audits, and other safety training as assigned
  • Work in a proactive, safe manner in compliance with all safety practices, policies, and training
  • Immediately resolve and/or report all safety issues to supervisor
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with all Contamination Control Initiatives

Qualifications

Physical Requirements:
  • Standing and walking
  • Lifting (up to 60lbs.)
  • Carrying (up to 50lbs.)
  • Push/pull (up to 80lbs.)
  • Sitting, rotation and forward bending (sitting and standing)
  • Hand coordination and reaching
  • Foot pedal operation
  • Climbing stairs and ladders
  • Crawling, low work (kneeling), and awkward positioning
  • Outdoor work (as required)
  • Wearing 10-20lbs. of protective clothing, including fire resistant clothing, welding helmet/shield, & ANSI-rated protective footwear (as required)
