Experienced HVAC Mechanic role supporting Kodak’s Film Sensitizing Operations at the Rochester site, focused on installing, maintaining, and modifying air handling and controls across office, lab, and manufacturing facilities. You’ll handle troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, repairs, and small installs across mechanical, electrical, and control systems. We are looking for a seasoned HVAC Mechanic to support our Kodak Film Sensitizing Operations
As an HVAC Mechanic you will install, maintain and modify air handling systems in office, lab and manufacturing facilities at Eastman Kodak Rochester site.
Specific Responsibilities:
• Maintain and service HVAC systems in Kodak Rochester facilities including:
• Fans
• Pumps
• Motors
• Heat Exchangers
• Vacuum Pumps
• Steam Traps
• Control Valves
• Heating and Cooling Coils
• Variable Frequency Drives
• Building Automation Systems:
• Rosemount
• Siemens
• Johnson Control
• Andover
• All field devices, including control valves, thermostats, variable air volume boxes (VAV), unit heaters, humidifiers and other ancillary equipment.
• Maintain and repair HVAC DDC (Distributed Digital Control) systems
• Maintain and repair electronic and pneumatic control systems
• Repair HVAC electrical equipment
• Repair, overhaul, and rebuild mechanical HVAC equipment
• Utilize Airside Fundamentals to troubleshoot, run diagnostics, & identify root causes of equipment failures and/or operational problems
• Install new HVAC mechanical and electrical equipment; and electronic, pneumatic and DDC controls.
• Filter changes
• Investigate and implement energy conservation improvements
• Respond to all demand maintenance calls
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Respond to after hour emergency calls, minimal
• Maintain Performance Specifications in buildings
Recommended:
• Confined Space (< 1%)
• Lockout Tag out
• Certified to operate powered industrial vehicles for specific jobs (scissors and boom lifts, etc.)
Education Required:
• High School diploma or GED
• 10 years equivalent experience in a related field in an industrial/manufacturing environment
• 10 years equivalent education in a HVAC program or Journeyman

• Understands concepts of lean manufacturing to drive improvement in day-to-day work.

Physical Requirements:

• Work may require employee to be exposed to inclement weather conditions, minimal.

Monday through Friday, 6am to 230pm with occasional overtime
