Location
Billerica, MASecurity Monitoring: Continuously monitor surveillance systems, alarm platforms, access control systems, and other security technologies for suspicious activity or operational issues. Incident Response: Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms while following established escalation procedures. Cybersecurity Awareness: Recognize and report potential cyber-related threats, phishing attempts, unauthorized system access, or unusual digital activity. Access Control Management: Monitor badge access systems and verify authorization for employees, contractors, and visitors. Dispatch & Communication: Coordinate with on-site security personnel, emergency responders, management teams, and law enforcement when necessary. Report Writing: Maintain accurate and detailed incident logs, daily activity reports, and security documentation. Systems Operations: Operate and troubleshoot security software, communication systems, and monitoring platforms. Threat Detection: Analyze security data and surveillance feeds to identify risks, vulnerabilities, or suspicious behavior. Customer Service: Maintain professional communication while assisting employees, visitors, and client personnel. Policy Enforcement: Ensure compliance with company procedures, site protocols, and security standards.
Strong computer and technical skills required Experience with surveillance systems, access control platforms, or security monitoring software preferred Knowledge of cybersecurity principles or security operations strongly preferred Excellent observational and problem-solving abilities Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure Strong written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail and professionalism Ability to work independently in a security operations environment
Must be at least 21 years of age Reliable transportation and communication Legal authorization to work in the United States Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required Prior SOC, security, dispatch, military, law enforcement, or cybersecurity experience is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer systems required
