Recognized as a Great Place to Work, Bunzl North America is seeking a seasoned preferred Human Resources leader to serve as the Division Sr. HR Manager for our Processor Division. This role will oversee HR operations for 11 locations across United States ensuring compliance, driving employee engagement, and supporting leadership development. The ideal candidate will be comfortable navigating cross-cultural environments.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic HR partner to division leadership, providing guidance on employee relations, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Lead HR initiatives across S. locations, ensuring alignment with company policies and local labor laws.
  • Coach and advise managers on performance management, employee engagement, and leadership development.
  • Investigate and resolve employee relations issues, partnering with corporate HR on escalated matters.
  • Partners with Corporate Talent Development to shape strategy and priorities, providing insight, recommendations and organizational perspective to ensure programs align with business needs and workforce capability goals.
  • Facilitate organization talent reviews and calibrations for the division including: 9-box assessments, succession planning, development plan creation, and internal development coaching.
  • Identify and lead development activities
  • Administer compensation and performance evaluation programs across the division
  • Prepare and analyze month-end and ad hoc reporting utilizing UKG software and Excel.
  • Serve as a resource to employees at all levels regarding benefits, payroll, and leave of absence, providing knowledgeable direction and guidance while partnering with the appropriate teams for administration.
  • Lead change management and organizational development initiatives that support growth, transformation, or restructuring.
  • Coordinate Workers’ Compensation efforts with site leadership.
  • Develops and executes compliance initiatives in response to evolving laws and regulatory requirements
  • Manage HR‑related risk, including compliance, investigations, and policy enforcement.
  • Support executive-level recruiting and onboarding
  • Moderate travel to support HR operations and build strong relationships with local teams.

      Requirements

      • High school diploma required
      • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
      • Master's degree in HR or related field preferred
      • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR certification
      • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including multi-site and multi-state HR
      • Talent/Organizational Development experience required
      • Strong knowledge of S. labor laws and HR practices.
      • Proven ability to influence and coach leaders at all
      • Strong knowledge of and proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
      • Experience in employee relations, talent development, and organizational
      • Ability to travel as needed.
