The Sr. Program Manager will lead and oversee a Security Operations Center (SOC) program, ensuring the delivery of mission-critical cybersecurity services, adherence to SLAs, and alignment with evolving threat landscapes. What you’ll do:
Develop, cultivate, and manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring strong collaboration and trust across the SOC program
Maintain clear lines of communication and coordination with government contracting officers and Contracting Officer’s Representatives (CORs) to ensure alignment on priorities and deliverables
Support team development by holding personnel accountable for commitments, removing operational roadblocks, and leveraging organizational resources to enhance SOC performance; participate in hiring, onboarding, mentoring, and evaluating team members
Define, implement, and continuously improve project and operational processes, championing best practices in SOC program management and cybersecurity operations
Build and lead high-performing teams by fostering collaboration, empowerment, and accountability, ensuring each team member is engaged and contributing to mission success while maintaining high quality standards
Prioritize, lead, and manage SOC tasking, ensuring timely and effective execution of incident response, monitoring, and operational activities
Evaluate, prioritize, and manage the impact of scope changes on SOC operations, ensuring alignment with mission objectives and service levels
Gather and translate business and mission requirements into technical and operational solutions that enhance SOC capabilities
Identify, manage, and escalate program risks and issues to appropriate stakeholders, ensuring proactive mitigation in a dynamic threat environment
Provide regular status reporting and briefings to leadership, ensuring transparency into SOC operations, performance metrics, and program health
Report to a MetroStar Director, receiving strategic guidance, support, and resources to ensure successful program execution
What you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum of eight (10) years of IT Project Management experience, with a strong emphasis on Cybersecurity and Security Operations Center (SOC) initiatives
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Proven experience delivering Agile programs, including initiatives incorporating AI/ML capabilities for cybersecurity operations and analytics
Demonstrated success managing large, complex IT programs for Federal clients, particularly in areas of cybersecurity, new capability development, and system modernization (preferably involving big data platforms and multi-system integrations)
Strong ability to strategize, plan, lead, organize, and motivate cross-functional teams in high-tempo SOC or cyber operations environments
Experience overseeing program financials, resource allocation, and workforce planning for IT and cybersecurity programs
Excellent interpersonal skills, with a track record of mentoring, coaching, collaboration, and team building across technical and operational teams
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to brief senior stakeholders and translate technical concepts into operational impact
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required
Active TS/SCI security clearance required
SALARY RANGE: $175,000 - $207,000
The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors including:

This role is also eligible for additional compensation, subject to the terms and policies of MetroStar, which may include:
