The Work:
In this position, you will
· Contribute to technical planning, system development and design, requirements allocation, detail trade studies, verification and validation, cost and risk, test ability, and manufacturability.
· Support top level architecture design, mission planning, requirements decomposition, and traceability. Lead development and maturation of RF design through entire program lifecycle.
· Interface with subject matter experts and providers of various subsystem products and technologies. Provide RF manufacturing support to include assembly and test.
· Develop work instruction planning, and manufacturing support, designing with manufacturability in mind. Perform cascade analysis, modeling, simulation, troubleshooting, and test of Various RF Subsystems, circuits, and components.
· Develop and manage RF systems engineering program plans for cost and schedule, as a self-sufficient RF Hardware Design Engineer who can lead teams of RF engineers, and independently determine and develop approaches to solutions.
· Collaborate through effective communication skills with interdisciplinary teams, cross-Business Areas, and customers to appropriately communication status and results.
· Provide solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects.

Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in a related discipline with 8 years of professional experience.
- Experience with the application of electromagnetics and RF theories.
- Experience with RF board design and construction, including material selection.
-Experience with RF analysis tools, such as ADS, HFSS, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of analog circuits, design, and analysis, schematic capture and layout tools.
- Experience leading cross functional team and managing cost and schedule.
- Experience developing trade studies.
- Experience performing RF testing using VNA, RSA, Spectrum analyzers, etc...
- Ability to obtain and hold a DoD Secret Security clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required.
