We are currently looking for a Staff Data Scientist - Finance & Accounting in United States.
This role sits at the intersection of advanced data science, financial systems, and large-scale healthcare operations, with a focus on building trustable, audit-ready financial intelligence.
You will lead high-impact analytical work that connects revenue infrastructure to core financial outcomes such as profitability, cash flow, and operational efficiency.
The position plays a critical role in shaping how financial data is modeled, interpreted, and used across the organization to support strategic and regulatory readiness.
You will partner closely with Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Product, and Operations teams to improve visibility into revenue cycles and collections performance.
The work combines predictive modeling, metrics design, and deep financial systems understanding in a fast-scaling, mission-driven environment.
This is a highly cross-functional role where insights directly influence executive decisions and company-wide financial strategy.
It offers the opportunity to define how data science powers financial clarity in a complex, high-growth organization.
\Lead strategic data science initiatives that connect revenue systems and operational data to financial outcomes including P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet performance.
Design and implement scalable metrics frameworks that improve visibility into revenue flows, collections loss, and financial reporting accuracy.
Develop forecasting and predictive models to support staffing, planning, and performance tracking against financial targets.
Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Product, and Operations teams to ensure data integrity, auditability, and GAAP compliance.
10+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or related quantitative roles.
Strong understanding of finance and accounting fundamentals, including financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and transaction-level data structures.
Experience with revenue cycle management (RCM) or healthcare financial systems is strongly preferred.
Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Accounting, Product, Engineering, and Operations teams.
Hands-on experience with SQL and Python or R, and familiarity with modern data modeling practices (e.g., Ability to design and maintain scalable data frameworks supporting financial reporting and decision-making.
Experience using AI-assisted tools to improve data workflows and productivity is a plus.
