ManTech International is seeking a Strategic Project Manager to drive high-impact initiatives in our Defense & Aerospace portfolio, supporting mission-critical national security programs for the U.S. intelligence community, the Department of Defense, and other federal agencies. In this role, you will lead complex, multi-year projects that enable the development and deployment of innovative cyber security and advanced technology solutions that protect our nation’s most sensitive systems.

Working within the Project Management & Coordination organization, the Strategic Project Manager serves as the central point of accountability for planning, executing, and delivering strategic programs on time and within budget. You will translate mission objectives and customer needs into executable project roadmaps, detailed work plans, and measurable outcomes, ensuring alignment across cyber security engineers, systems architects, operations teams, and government stakeholders. You will develop and manage integrated master schedules, define and monitor key performance indicators, and maintain disciplined control over scope, cost, risk, and quality using recognized project management and Earned Value Management practices.

This position requires a deep understanding of the defense and aerospace environment, including familiarity with DoD and Intelligence Community processes, acquisition frameworks, and security requirements. You will identify and manage program risks, issues, and interdependencies, maintaining risk registers and mitigation plans while facilitating timely decision-making. You will regularly prepare and deliver concise, mission-focused briefings, status reports, and recommendations to senior leadership and government customers, ensuring they have clear visibility into program health, tradeoffs, and impacts.

You will help shape project strategies, support proposal and capture efforts for new work, refine project management processes, and mentor junior staff in project coordination best practices. The role is ideal for a self-driven leader who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment and who is motivated by the opportunity to safeguard national interests while advancing the state of the art in defense and cyber capabilities.

The position typically operates in a hybrid environment, combining time on-site with customers or at secure ManTech facilities with remote coordination and planning activities.
