As a Supply Chain Planning Specialist- Level 2, you'll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This position is located in Magna, UT. The person hired will be expected to work onsite. Hybrid schedule with part-time telecommuting based on program requirements and business needs. FT remote work may be available for the right candidate. Job Duties: Define and develop material strategy. Responsible for the assessment of supply resources; aggregates and prioritizes demand requirements; plans inventory, distribution requirements, production, material and rough-cut capacity for all products. Participate in make/buy process, long-term capacity and resource planning; product phase-in/phase-out, manufacturing ramp-up, end-of-life management and product-line management. Analyze and aggregate supply / demand requirements. Analyze purchase material supply/demand position using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools. Plan inventory levels based on dependent and independent Bill-of-Materials (BOM) requirements. Assess rough-cut capacity for current and short-term manufacturing requirements. Create/reduce supply requirements based on inventory adjustments. Participate in long-term capacity and resource planning to ensure proper scheduling of new product line phase-ins as well as existing product line phase-outs. Interface with Source process area regarding inventory levels, working capital and other areas as needed. Receive and review requirements for non-standard parts. Analyzes lead times and identifies critical path procurements. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and 2+ years of supply chain, planning, or closely related experience -OR- Master's degree; in lieu of degree 4+ years of additional experience in supply chain, planning or closely related experience may be considered Experience with Costpoint or similar ERP system MS Office including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Ability to obtain a government clearance. U.S. Citizenship is a pre-requisite. Preferred Qualifications: Supply chain experience for an aerospace and/or defense company. Primary Level Salary Range: $65,500.00 - $103,400.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
