DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is seeking highly motivated Herbicide Applicator Technicians to support vegetation management operations along rights-of-way and roadsides. Responsibilities include weed control, grass and brush cutting, trimming, and herbicide application using spray trucks, ATVs, backpack sprayers, and hose systems. Perform and document all required DOT truck inspections, including identifying and troubleshooting spray system or vehicle issues and reporting needed repairs. Maintain trucks, spray equipment, and tools in a clean, safe, and organized condition at all times. Operate herbicide application equipment safely and efficiently in a variety of field environments. Receive training to properly calibrate and operate all spray equipment. Gain an understanding of herbicides, application methods, target vegetation, and all related safety procedures to ensure customer expectations and compliance standards are met. High School Diploma or Equivalent is required. Must be able to travel away from home for up to 6-8 weeks at a time, 1 week home time. (Hotel paid for by DCS and per-diem). At least 3 years of herbicide application experience required: Large scale commercial property is preferred. Commercial Pesticide Applicators preferred: Excellent Medical, Dental, Vision and Prescription Drug Plan
