SUMMARY OF JOB PURPOSE
Repairs Safran Helicopter Engines USA family of engines and performs maintenance of engines, subassemblies, and components

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
β€’ Works with hand tools, measuring equipment, balancing and grinding machines to assemble modules and engines.
β€’ Works with repair manual and internal documentation to accept or reject individual components in a module.
β€’ Required "On Call" duty.

SCOPE AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
β€’ Develops procedures; identifies problems; recommends solutions; recommends expenditures.
β€’ Chooses from prescribed methods to fulfill project objectives, with short-term review by MRO Engine Shop Lead. Divulging confidential and/or sensitive information could lead to damage to reputation and/or competitive posture of the company. Errors may lead to high risk of major damage to the organization resulting in the need to create an entirely new approach.
β€’ Provides "On the Job" training to technicians when required

This position requires access to information and hardware subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The selected candidate must be a U.S. person or must meet eligibility requirements for access to export-controlled information and hardware.

β€’ Certificate from college or technical school preferred
β€’ 3 to 5 years of experience in aviation preferred

β€’ Mechanical/technical/interpersonal skills that are adapted to the unique requirements of the organization.
