Telcom Technician 1 role supporting Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma’s low-voltage cabling standards and telcom connectivity installations (including non-VoIP Nortel systems, carrier circuits, and POTS lines). This is a full-time, onsite position in Durant, OK, working Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm, with weekly earned wage access as a standout perk.

Job Purpose or Objective(s): You will support low voltage Choctaw Nation cabling standards and installations for Telcom connectivity including non-VoIP phones systems like Nortel including Carrier circuits, and POT’s lines. You will report to the Director of Network Services.
Primary Tasks:
You will pull fiber and copper cables in different environments. Work on a ladder while pulling cable. Terminate both copper and fiber cables. Perform other tasks as may be assigned.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
No technical Certifications
One year experience working on a ladder while pulling cable.
Physical ability to walk, stand, drive 3 hours, and carry 75lb’s.
