The Thermal Engineer is an integral part of an HRSG project team. The Thermal Engineer's role is responsible for all process design calculations, pressure part design, and heat transfer calculations. The Thermal Engineer is also responsible for field performance testing of equipment to validate guaranteed thermal performance and to analyze existing equipment for performance and design improvements. This position requires interfacing and collaboration with multiple disciplines to achieve quality results.
Review of technical proposal and customer specifications
Thermal and hydraulic design analysis for optimization.
Basic risk analysis/Liquidated Damages analysis.
Performance correction curves.
Performance Test procedure.
Test data analysis and performance evaluation

S. in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
Must have a broad understanding of heat transfer, mass transfer, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and the structural and mechanical principles of the product and be able to apply these disciplines to the product design.
Must be organized and able to work under pressure in order to meet deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously and respond quickly to requests.
Computer experience and knowledge of EXCEL, WORD, and other relevant packaged software.
Must have a valid passport and be able to travel when required.
