Job Description
The CT Technologist is responsible for operating computed tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images in a variety of settings including ER, OR, inpatient, and outpatient. Work involves patient preparation, positioning, and scanning while ensuring patient safety and image quality.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and position patients for CT scans.
- Operate Siemens CT equipment to obtain necessary diagnostic images.
- Work collaboratively with radiologists and medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records utilizing the Cerner EMR system.
Requirements
- BLS Certification
- Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT)
- Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R)
- Fluoroscopy certification
