Oncall only 1-2x a weekMust arrive within 30 min of being call inMust be able to scrubScrub nurse duties include, but are not limited to, the following:Assisting surgeons, interventional radiologists, and nurse practitioners during proceduresPreparing the operating room table, tools, and equipment prior to surgeryEnsuring sterility and safety is maintained before, during, and after the procedureProviding emotional support to patients and their family members throughout their hospitalizationCollaborating with the circulating nurse in monitoring vitals, assessing skin integrity, and communicating with family members throughout the perioperative periodDocumenting surgical details in the patient’s electronic health record (EHR)Performing postoperative needle, sponge, and instrument countsPreferred Qualifications:Previous scrub nurse experience in vascular and cardiac surgery Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) CertificationImpeccable organization, time management, and critical-thinking skills Access Healthcare Job ID #5-THS-1381966.
