Integrated Healthcare Services is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a travel job in Golden, Colorado. Job Description & Requirements

Job Summary

Perform scrub duties and maintain sterile supplies and technique. Assist in nursing care and preparation of surgical patients. Assemble, organize, and complete case carts based on doctor’s preference lists. Provide appropriate instrumentation, suture, and supplies as requested while maintaining a sterile environment. Assist surgeons by passing instruments during procedures. Count sponges, needles, blades, and instruments per established policies. Handle specimens, implants, dressings, soiled instruments, contaminated materials, and sharps according to policy and standards. Ensure timely turnover of rooms, including cleanup, replacement, and restocking of supplies and equipment. Care for instruments and equipment. Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCL Health and adhere to service behavior standards. Perform other duties as assigned. May float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business needs. May be required to be on-call during scheduled shifts.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED. Graduation from a formal, accredited surgical technologist program (or equivalent military training). BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Two (2) years of Surgical Tech experience, including one (1) year of CVOR scrubbing experience. At least one (1) year of cardiovascular experience as a Surgical Tech.

Preferred Qualifications

One (1) year of clinical experience in an accredited hospital.
