Travel This position will provide support for the unit as we prepare for the Epic go-live.Cerner and Epic EMR experience required.This position has a hard start date of 6/1/2026 and end date of 7/26/2026. Prior to the end of the assignment, unit needs will be assessed, and an extension could be offered.TRAVELER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SELF-STUDYING TELEMETRY STRIPS UPON ACCEPTANCE AND A BASIC DYSRHYTHMIA TEST OUT WILL BE GIVEN FIRST WEEK OF ASSIGNMENT. THIS MUST BE PASSED IN ORDER TO WORK IN CCU.Delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members. Effectively interacts with the patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing. Provides high quality care to the following patient populations: Adult cardiac/ telemetry, Stroke, Vascular intervention, Hemodynamic monitoring. BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Required. Estimated work week 36-hours with the possibility of overtime. Traveler will be responsible for self-studying Telemetry strips upon acceptance and a Basic Dysrhythmia test out will be given first week of assignment. This must be passed in order to work on our ICU-CCU units.While the traveler will not be part of a regular call rotation, they may occasionally be placed on call during periods of low census.
