BLS ACLS NIHSS Job Details
Position: RN - ICU Specialty: RN ICU Job involves working in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) providing critical care nursing. Job Requirements
Must have a valid nursing license with verification dated within 30 days of start. American Heart Association BLS certification required for all direct patient care personnel. ACLS certification required for RNs in ICU (MICU, SICU) and other critical care areas. NIHSS certification required (likely due to stroke care relevance). TNCC certification is optional. Must complete Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing within a year. Must comply with Trinity Code of Conduct, Confidentiality, Integrity, and other professional forms. Must pass Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen within 30 days of start. Must have proof of COVID-19 vaccine or approved exemption. Must have proof of MMR, Hepatitis B vaccination series, Varicella vaccination or immunity, Influenza vaccine (optional). Must have 2 Step PPD or IGRA test for TB screening. Must provide Physical/Health Statement within last year. Must complete Trinity Skills Checklist for clinical contractors. Must have current TDAP vaccine or declination if no pediatric interaction. Must complete Iowa Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training (IA only). Must complete Iowa Sing Report and other background checks within 30 days prior to start. Schedule Information
