Job Description

Provide nursing care in Labor and Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum units. Job Requirements

BLS (American Heart Association) ACLS (American Heart Association) NRP Advanced (American Heart Association/American Academy of Pediatrics Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Fetal Monitoring Certification (AWHONN, Relias, or equivalent within past 2 years) Current nursing license with Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start Completion of Ascension Skills Checklist within one year and updated annually for specialty Completion of Ascension Specialty Exam prior to first assignment and updated every 3 years with minimum 80% score Completion of Ascension Pharmacology Exam prior to start and updated every 3 years with minimum 80% score Completion of Ascension Core Competencies (HIPAA, Joint Commission NPSG, OSHA Topics) within a year of start and updated yearly with minimum 80% score Required health and immunization documentation including MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza Vaccine, Varicella, Tdap, TB testing (2 Step PPD or IGRA), and Health Statement Driver's License/State ID must be current and valid Completion of background checks and employment verifications as per Ascension policies Schedule Information
