BLS ARRT SCRQSA Job Details
Maintains a professional image and excellent customer relations with patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers according to Service Excellence Standards and Core Values. Verifies patient identity by comparing two identifiers with requisition and chart. Ensures correct procedure is done by checking chart or prescription and documents order clarification as needed. Treats patient and procedure in accordance with confidentiality policy. Completes annual training and demonstrates age-specific care to meet patient population needs. Greets and assists patient with appropriate attire, explains procedure, length, expectations, and desired results. Expresses sincere concern for patient well-being to reduce anxiety. Selects and utilizes appropriate technical factors for procedure based on body habitus, pathology, and body part; positions patient properly. Verifies all images have successfully transferred to PACS and are of high quality before radiologist interpretation. Demonstrates thorough knowledge of imaging equipment as per Competency Skills Checklist. Maintains attentiveness to equipment and patient during procedure. Maintains acceptable completion time based on procedure complexity and patient condition, demonstrating good time utilization. Maintains all required documentation and data per accrediting body and MQSA standards specific to mammography technologist. After orientation and training, performs all Mammography exams (screening, diagnostic, stereotactic biopsy, and Bone Density (DXA)) per hospital protocols without assistance. Job Requirements
BLS certification (AHA only). License/Certificate Verification with primary source verification and state-specific registry. Proof of immunizations or titers for MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella; no declinations accepted. 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) testing within specified timeframes. Valid driver's license or state ID. Social Security Card copy. McLeod Profile (resume or profile). Criminal background check including county, statewide, national search, OIG, EPLS, OFAC, NSOP, SS Trace, and education verification within 60 days of start, updated annually. Employment verification for 5 years. Confirmation of assignment form (MCL standard). McLeod Skills Checklist completed prior to start and updated annually. 10 panel drug screen within 30 days of start; rapid drug screen not accepted. ARRT or NMTCB certification. SCRQSA certification.
