Registered Nurse position specializing in Medical/Surgical care. Work at St. Francis Campus, a level 1 trauma center. Part of Ascension Health hospital system at KSWIC Ascension Via Christi Hospitals Wichita. Job Requirements

Must have current nursing license verified through Nursys within 30 days prior to start. BLS certification required, must be American Heart Association (AHA) certified. Completion of Ascension Core Competencies including HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, OSHA topics with minimum 80% passing score. Ascension EKG Exam with passing score of at least 80%. MOAB Moderate Risk De-Escalation Training required. Completion of Ascension Skills Checklist within one year of start, updated annually for specialty. Documentation of immunizations and health requirements: MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Hepatitis B, Influenza vaccine (with mask requirement if declined), 2 Step PPD or IGRA testing, Fit Test, Health Statement updated annually. Criminal background check including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender, and EPLS within 90 days of start. Verification of education relevant to clinical work within 90 days of start. Third-party employment verification for past seven years.
