**Job Description:**
- Be a vital part of our healthcare team, responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with exceptional patient care. - Plan, implement, and document nursing care tailored to patient needs. - Identify patient needs and establish care priorities through comprehensive assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. - Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized care plans based on both initial and ongoing assessments. - Initiate assessments reflecting the patient's problems or needs, the physician’s medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework. - Perform therapeutic nursing interventions with skill and compassion. - Manage and oversee the care of patients, ensuring the highest standards of quality. - Document care diligently following standards, patient acuity, and clinical priorities. - Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards, embracing innovative approaches to care delivery. - Provide patient-centric care, aligning with our professional nursing practice model. - Embrace additional responsibilities and duties as needed.
**Required Skills & Experience:**
- Minimum of 3+ years of Mother-Baby experience required. - Expertise in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Antepartum care strongly preferred. - Soft skills related to Newborn care are essential.
**Education Requirements:**
- Required: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN). - Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
**Required Certifications & Licensure:**
- BLS (American Heart Association certified). - NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program). - Valid NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
**Schedule:**
- 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 3 shifts of 12 hours each. - Every other weekend and holiday required. - No on-call or float requirements.
