BLS Job Details
Perform MRI imaging safely and efficiently based on established guidelines and protocols. MRI technologists required to have sound knowledge of cross sectional anatomy, spine anatomy, neuro-vascular anatomy, and head and neck anatomy including knowledge of common head and neck diseases and their processes. Work independently and in collaboration with Radiologists, Lead Imaging Specialist, Associate Director Radiology and fellow technologists to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of exams. Provide comfort and safety to patients to achieve highest diagnostic imaging quality possible. Job Requirements
BLS certification required for onboarding (AHA, Red Cross, CHSF or Military). Primary Source Verification of professional license and/or certification required within 30 days of start date and updated upon expiration. MA Conditional Licenses not accepted. Fit Test (N95) required within 365 days to start date and updated annually; no exemptions allowed. Respirator Medical Clearance (RMC) Attestation required if fit test is required for skill. Documentation of MMR vaccination or proof of immunity required. Documentation of TB skin test screening within 3 months of start date and updated if >6 month break, or negative QuantiFERON TB Test or T-spot within 3 months and updated if >6 month break. Physician Health Statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date and updated if >6 month break. MGB Criminal Background Check within 45 days prior to start date and updated if >6 month break. MGB Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start date and updated if >6 month break. MGB Resume including past 7 years of work experience required for submission. Two references within 4 years of submission, minimum 1 supervisor or above in skillset required for submission. MGB Skills Checklist must be completed within 1 year of submission. MGB Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form required for all initial assignments and extensions upon acceptance of assignment. MGB Education Verification through background check company required. MGB SSN Trace must be run with criminal check. MGB National Sex Offender Check ran within 30 days of start and updated annually. MGB Exclusion Checks ran within 30 days of start and annually.
