Job Summary

Evaluates health status through the ongoing collection and assessment of health data. Performs health teaching and counseling. Provides therapy and treatment that is supportive and restorative to life and well-being, either directly to the patient or indirectly through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching. Executes delegated medical functions and refers patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment. Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans, ensuring documentation aligns with hospital and regulatory guidelines. Promotes the mission, vision, and values of SCL Health while adhering to service behavior standards. May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business needs or be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift.

Required Qualifications:

Two (2) years of PICU experience. ASN - Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing. Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice. PALS certification. BLS - American Heart Association certification. ENPC certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

Travel experience. One (1) year of general pediatrics experience. Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Certification as appropriate for unit or service. TNCC certification. ACLS certification.
