Job Summary Under general supervision, provides nursing care in a hospital setting to patients with health conditions ranging from simple to complex. Responsibilities
Manage an assigned group of patients, ensuring quality care delivery. Document patient responses to interventions and treatments, noting changes in physician orders. Assist physicians during patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures. Monitor and obtain physiological data, intervening as necessary. Administer prescribed medications and manage intravenous infusions and blood products. Develop and share care plans with patients and families, including discharge instructions. Inform patients and families about hospital procedures. Refer patient care needs to appropriate personnel and delegate tasks to support staff. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
1 year of nursing experience. Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a multistate compact RN License (eNLC). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher from a board-approved program.
