32 bed unit, recruiting for progressive care nurses or intermediate care. Manage drips and more acute patients. Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions as per state Board of Nursing standards. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care. Evaluates health status through ongoing collection and assessment of health data. Performs health teaching and counseling. Provides supportive and restorative therapy and treatment directly or indirectly. Executes delegated medical functions. Refers patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed. Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans. Documents according to hospital and regulatory guidelines. Uses resources as needed. Promotes mission, vision, and values of SCL Health and abides by service behavior standards. May float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business need. May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift. Job Requirements
Minimum of one (1) year of experience. Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN) is required. Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice is required. Schedule Information
