Minimum Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
  • Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
  • Active New York state SLP license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience providing SLP services in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
  • Experience with dysphagia evaluation and treatment, including instrumental assessments (e.g., FEES or MBS) preferred.
  • Experience documenting in electronic medical records preferred.
  • Weekend SLP availability required.
