Float Pool M/S Tele RN position requiring willingness to float to 8 different units. Responsible for cardiac monitoring, cardiac drips, and reading telemetry strips. 2 years of acute care hospital experience preferred. Must have telemetry monitoring skills including measuring intervals and interpreting strips every 4 hours. Experience with TR Band and ability to perform cardiac drips and read telemetry strips. Clinician to patient ratio: Days & Eves up to 5:1, Nights up to 6:1. Patient population includes ED border patients, acute mental health unit medication nursing, and non-vented ICU transfer-ready patients. Bed count of 371 with units ranging from 8 to 41 beds. Rotation includes Days/Eves rotating with 1 to 3 rotations to Nights per contract. Charting system used is EPIC. Job Requirements
Active Massachusetts RN License required. 2 years of acute care hospital experience in one location required. 2 years working as a traveler required.
