Perform diagnostic imaging as a Radiologic Technologist, producing high-quality radiologic films to support accurate diagnosis and effective patient care. Prepare and position patients, select precise exposure factors, and administer contrast media within scope to ensure safe, compliant imaging procedures. Apply radiation safety standards and monitor patients during exams, promptly reporting abnormalities to protect patient safety and clinical outcomes. Submit complete, high-quality images and clinical documentation to PACS while maintaining accuracy of patient data and lead markers. Monitor imaging equipment performance, report malfunctions, and maintain a clean, organized radiology department to ensure operational efficiency. Job Requirements
Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start of assignment for all licensed professionals. Completion of Ascension Specialty Exam prior to first assignment and updated every 3 years thereafter in specialty with minimum 80% passing score. Completion of Ascension Core Competencies within a year of start, updated every 3 years with minimum 80% passing score. Documentation of required vaccinations and health screenings including MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, Fit Test, and TB testing. Completion of Ascension Skills Checklist within one year of start; updated annually for specialty.
