Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

We're looking for Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs) for an immediate travel opening in Farmington Hills, MI.
As a OTA, you will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OT) to help patients of all ages develop, improve, or recover the skills needed for daily living and working. Document patient performance and progress accurately and in a timely manner per facility and state guidelines.
Assist patients with exercises, mobility training, and use of adaptive equipment.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and equipment.
Comply with state licensing rules and adhere to facility and professional standards.
Must have 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. The ideal candidate must hold a current BLS and COTA National certification. OTAs should be able to lift and assist patients safely, demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and possess a solid understanding of anatomy, motor function, and occupational therapy principles.
Requirements*: BLS, NBCOT (COTA), 2 Years
