2nd Shift: M - Th 5:00 pm to 3:30 am
Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding operations using flux core and arc welding.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Inspect and test welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Maintain and repair welding equipment and tools.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within specifications.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications
- Structural steel flux core with the standards of AWS D1.1 and CWB qualifications
- Certified welder in both GMAW and FCAW (for level II and up)
- Cutting accurately with torches and plasma cuter
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
- Comfortable working in various positions, including standing, bending, and kneeling.
- Willingness to work in different environments, including outdoor and confined spaces.
