- Responsible for repair and maintenance of all manual, semi-automatic, and automatic welding equipment
- Repair and maintenance of all oxygen/propane, oxygen/acetylene burning, preheat, and related equipment
- Repair and maintenance of all mold in place equipment
- Repair and maintenance of magna drills, boring bars and related equipment
- Repair and maintenance of hydraulic jacks, pumps, and associated equipment
- Work conditions may include confined spaces

Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma, GED, OR have 2+ years of related technical experience
- 1-5 years of repair and maintenance experience of all manual, semi-automatic, and automatic welding equipment
- Security clearance to enter all areas of the shipyard (CIA) is required
- Must be able to work until the end of the normal scheduled shift hours
- Must have the ability to distinguish between colors for the purpose of performing the job
Preferred:
- 3 - 5 years of experience repair and maintenance experience of all manual, semi-automatic, and automatic welding equipment
- 1+ years of PC background experience in parts and equipment ordering and tool tracking issues/collection
