Review and approve fixed asset transactions and journal entries in a manufacturing environment (including but not limited to: capitalization, depreciation, transfers, disposals) for month-end close Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to build out fixed asset tagging process across 3 sites Review monthly/quarterly/annual fixed asset roll forwards Prepare and review explanations for monthly flux analyses Manage internal fixed asset roadmap and work cross functionally to enhance full cycle fixed asset management process Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors regarding fixed asset-related inquiries and documentation About You: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of professional accounting experience, with exposure to high volume fixed asset transactions Technical understanding of fixed asset accounting under GAAP Proven leader and management experience with strong communication, financial data analysis skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting Focused on continuous improvement and process enhancement Advanced Excel skills (V-Lookups, Pivot Tables, etc.) Nice to haves but not required: Big 4/regional firm audit/assurance experience (strongly preferred) Certified Public Accounting (CPA), active or inactive Fast-growing start-ups and/or manufacturing industry experience – space manufacturing even better!
