Job Summary and Responsibilities

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (VMFH) is fulfilling our vision of transforming healthcare by expanding our Center for Cardiovascular Health team. We have an opportunity for a 1.0 FTE Structural Heart Advanced Practice Provider at our location in Silverdale, Washington at St. Michael Medical Center.

The Structural Heart APP will be part of the Franciscan Medical Group multi-specialty practice serving the greater South Puget Sound region of Washington State.

  • Center for Cardiovascular Health : The Center for Cardiovascular Health at VMFH encompasses over 150 providers, including interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, advanced heart failure specialists, cardiac imaging specialists, vascular surgeons, thoracic surgeons, cardiac surgeons and anesthesiologists, among other specialists. Our programs have achieved significant recognition within the region and nationally for our quality and outcomes. We are a high volume program performing over 1100 open heart surgeries, 2400 PCIs and 2000 ablations annually. We provide care for over 200,000 patients in our cardiology clinics annually and provide inpatient services for our healthcare system that includes over 1500 beds and 8 hospitals in the Greater Seattle Area.

  • Compensation range: $139,000.00 - $173,000.00/year plus additional $1,500.00 monthly stipend after 6 months of employment.



Job Requirements

Nurse Practitioner

  • 1+ years cardiology APP experience preferred

  • Washington State Registered Nurse License and an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License are required for this job.

  • Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and National Provider Identifier (NPI) numbers may be required depending on the position, as well as prescriptive authority.
