PURPOSE
The purpose of this position is to perform tasks to ensure all work instructions related to the assembly of standard SMC products and simple specials are followed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
β€’ Adherence to all department work instructions
β€’ Ensure the respective area is compliant with 5S standards
β€’ Process all paperwork necessary associated with established assembly standards
β€’ Execute basic to advanced workflow tasks on established SMC systems
β€’ Assembles and tests standard SMC products and simple specials
β€’ Ability to interpret and apply simple special documentation
β€’ Understanding of SMC's part numbering system
β€’ Understanding and application of physical bin system
β€’ Ability to complete inventory transactions consistent with established work instructions
β€’ Adherence to all safety rules
β€’ Adherence to all Quality Management system standards and policies

All other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
β€’ Physical demands require the person to regularly stand, walk, and use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms.
β€’ The person is frequently required to climb or balance, stoop kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to hear and talk.
β€’ The work environment will expose the employee to the following elements: Noise, Heat, Cold, Dust

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
β€’ A high school diploma or equivalent
β€’ Ability to work well in a team environment
β€’ Detail-oriented work
β€’ Ability to effectively communicate
β€’ Basic computer skills are preferred
