Job Duties: Associate, Internal Product Specialists with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, New York. Development and maintenance of proprietary product profiles, pitch books and other marketing materials focused on Fundamental Equity services, products and portfolio performance. Formulate and express investment views, field client questions on managers and fund investments, and outline investment theses and market outlook. Preparation of custom presentations and quarterly and annual investor letters for prospective and existing clients, related to investment performance, fund strategy, portfolio exposures, concentrations and diversification. Coordination and creation of ongoing client deliverables as well as new business development activities such as completion of Requests for Proposals/Requests for Information. Actively participate and assist in meetings with prospective and existing clients and internal salespeople, to evaluate manager investment strategies using both qualitative and quantitative metrics. Participation in concept review and new product development across the public equity platform. Coordinate new fund launches by managing the marketing calendar, developing marketing materials, completing committee memos, engaging with key internal and external stakeholders, and developing and maintaining sales trackers. Coordinate communication and platform wide updates with internal sales and distribution channels (Private Wealth Management, Third Party Distribution, Institutional Sales) regarding managers and Funds. Respond to ad-hoc requests from senior management and clients. Support leadership in attracting, developing and retaining junior employees, including facilitating training and mentoring of junior talent.

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related business-oriented field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related role. Prior experience must include two (2) years in the following: designing and preparing pitchbooks and marketing materials utilizing MS Office tools, including MS Work skills, document formatting and layout, collaboration tools, tracking changes, and table and chart formatting; using template styles and MS PowerPoint, including navigating slide master, creating tables, charts, graphs, diagrams with embedded data inputs and formatting, and creating and managing varying templates; synthesizing and presenting research analysis and economic trends; utilizing MS Excel, including the use of pivot tables, v-lookups, table creation, adding filter and sorting, cell formatting, conditional formatting, charting, including formulas and conditional inputs to synthesize data sets, find trends, and present data; liaising internally with cross-functional teams to plan and drive projects from concept to a final product; utilizing Factset and Bloomberg Terminal to perform portfolio and general market analysis, including using portfolio analytics for attribution, holdings, and characteristics assessments and reports; and creating model portfolios, stock assessments, using charting to assess various valuations and performance metrics across portfolios and indices, and assessment of macroeconomic conditions. FINRA Series 7TO and 63 required.

Salary Range: Annual base salary for this New York, New York -based position is $118,248 - $162,000.
