Join an independent R&D company as a skilled technician to assemble, maintain, and repair experimental electronics equipment to aide in solving national security problems. By joining our team, you will receive an additional $500 in your first paycheck, minus taxes.
Objectives of this Role:
- Work on a variety of projects and/or current challenges to support the lifecycle of electronic designs.
- Develop Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), assist with the creation of detailed schematic drawings and Library component generation for electronic designs.
- Solder components to PCBs, Work on Miniature Electromechanical systems.
- Assist engineers with testing newly developed electronic designs and also help troubleshoot on test bench.
- Work independently and in team environments.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
- Soldering fine pitched surface mount components to PCBs, soldering rework, and assembly.
- Responsibilities include Schematic capture, development of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), and Library component generation.
- Construct custom cables.
- Assist engineering staff with testing of new electronic designs.
- Complete assigned tasks without direct supervision and work on multiple tasks in parallel.
Requirements
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent or an Associates degree in Electronics.
- Certifications is preferred or working towards a certification/degree in electronics.
- 1 years: Experience with surface mount soldering.
- Experience troubleshooting and testing analog and digital electronics is beneficial.
- Experience in PCB design software is preferred.
- A valid/clear driver's license is required.
