The Supervisor Cardiac Cath Lab is accountable for directing and providing leadership to designated areas in Heart and Vascular services. This includes educational, clinical, and operational responsibility for the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Electrophysiology Lab, and Peripheral Vascular Lab. This position will function as both a daily operational supervisor and clinician. This role will provide leadership in the areas of orientation, training, clinical oversight, completions of competencies, and primary oversight in the daily operation of the lab.

Essential Job Function
- Assesses cardiac catheterization lab activities for quality, reviewing reports for internal committees and external compliance with regulatory agencies to support the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
- Participates in implementing and monitoring performance of the clinical staff, new employees, and preceptor?s competency.
- Develop programs and oversight to peers to ensure strong clinical performance standards are met.
- Ensures that the cardiac catheterization lab meets all compliance and regulatory requirements from internal and external agencies such as The Joint Commission.
- Analyzes requirements for capital equipment and assists in the preparation of justifications and recommendations.
- Fosters collaboration across departments, establishing strong clinical connections and physician-hospital relationships that enhance the overall patient experience and organizational effectiveness.
- Ensures consistent compliance with regulatory standards to safeguard patient well-being and maintain institutional integrity.
- Takes Supervisor call.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education
- Required: Bachelor?s degree in nursing or Allied Health Profession.
Experience
- Required: 3 years of Cath Lab experience
