Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) candidates with relevant experience considered
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital or specialized healthcare setting preferred
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to multitask effectively

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate patient care services by liaising with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Manage nursing staff schedules, workload distribution, and resource allocation to ensure smooth operation of the department
  • Assist in the development and implementation of nursing protocols, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Conduct regular team meetings to address concerns, discuss improvements, and communicate updates related to patient care or departmental issues
  • Monitor and evaluate nursing staff performance, providing feedback and conducting performance reviews as required
