Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking Machine Operators with 3 plus years of manufacturing experience to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production team supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have previous machine operation experience,?attention to detail, be a quick learner, and have a positive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:Machine Operator

Location

Columbus, Indiana
Pay Rate: $20 per hour + (depending on experience)
Shift:
2nd shift: 300pm - 1130pm
3rd shift: 1100pm - 730am

What's the Job?

  • Operate and monitor machines and equipment to produce high-quality automotive parts
  • Inspect parts for defects and ensure they meet quality standards
  • Package parts for shipment and label them correctly
  • Perform basic maintenance on machines and equipment
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area

What's needed?
  • Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience with machine/press experience
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and perform physical tasks such as walking, standing, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and repetitive motions on a daily basis
  • Basic math skills of adding, subtraction, division, and multiplication
  • Basic computer skills to print labels and open programs
