Precinmac is hiring a 2nd shift CNC Machinist to run and set up precision CNC equipment (lathes, mill-turn, and 3/4/5-axis mills) producing mission-critical components. You'll handle program proving, offsets/edits, blueprint/GD&T interpretation, and in-process inspection in a high-precision environment. Shift: Monday-Thursday 3:30PM-2:00AM - 10% shift differential
What You'll Do
- Run CNC equipment including lathes, mill-turn, 3/4/5-axis mills
- Set up, load parts, prove programs, adjust offsets, and perform edits
- Read and interpret complex blueprints, GD&T, and specifications
- Inspect work using precision measurement tools and make corrections as needed
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and perform basic machine PM
- Collaborate with supervisors, engineering, maintenance, and quality teams
What You Bring
- HS diploma/GED; machining training or 2+ years CNC experience
- Experience machining medium-to-high complexity parts
- Strong blueprint reading and GD&T understanding
- Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, indicators; CMM experience a plus
- Ability to follow instructions, adapt to change, and run multiple machines
- Solid math skills and knowledge of tooling, fixtures, and cutting strategies
