What would you do as a CNC Machinist (2nd Shift)

As a Full-Time CNC Machinist at PTI Technologies in Oxnard, CA, you will play a vital role in the aerospace industry by setting up and operating both manual and numerical control machines. Your expertise will be critical in cutting, shaping, and forming metal workpieces to precise specifications. You will read and interpret blueprints and planning sheets to determine tooling requirements and setup procedures. By developing setup sheets and positioning fixtures, you'll ensure accurate machining sequences.

You'll download part programs from our shop's program storage and manipulate controls to start and monitor the machinery. Observing machine operations, you will swiftly address any malfunctions or inefficiencies, making suggestions for program adjustments to enhance quality and production. Your contributions will also extend to machining various materials, deburring, cleaning parts, and maintaining a safe and efficient workspace.
